After Abortion Care

After abortion care is very important, particularly if you think you might be having a problem, and even if you are not having a problem, we would like to see you back in 2 weeks . Most doctors today have never seen a complication of an abortion because they are so rare since abortion became legal after Roe v. Wade. However, the rareness of problems does not mean that you may not have a problem, it only means that the pproblems you may experience will usually not be serious. However, if you go into an emergency room somewhere or another doctor's office, you may get put into a situation that costs thousands of dollars for no good reason. So if you think you are having a problem, get in touch with us. Most of these minor problems can be handled over the phone, but sometimes, we will have to see you back in the office to make certain you are not having a major problem. We have had only a literal handful of problems (that would be fewer than 5) after having done more than 20 thousand abortions here at FWC. But the small number of problems we have had in the past does not mean that we may not have one next week. So if after the abortion you think you are having a problem, you call.
